Packaging & Logistics Policy

Last updated: December 2025

1. Commitment to Safe Delivery

At Fortex, we understand that secure packaging and stable logistics are critical for FRP materials. Each fiberglass panel, roofing sheet and sandwich composite is packed using export-grade protection systems, ensuring your goods arrive clean, undamaged and ready for installation — regardless of destination.

2. Export Packaging Standards

All shipments follow international packing requirements designed for FRP composite products:

  • Steel- or wood-reinforced crates (ISPM 15 compliant for global customs)
  • EPE foam, edge guards and protective film to prevent surface scratches
  • Moisture-resistant wrapping to reduce humidity and salt exposure
  • Non-fumigation pallets suitable for sea, air or multimodal transport

Each crate includes labels with:

  • Product model, thickness, and lot number
  • Total quantity and dimensions
  • Handling icons (Fragile / Keep Dry / This Side Up)
  • Consignee information and destination country

Packaging is designed to be strong, consistent and inspection-ready.

3. Container Loading Safety

All loading operations are supervised by trained logistics staff and follow export safety procedures:

  • Pre-loading crate and container inspection with photos
  • Anti-slip blocks, straps and bracing to secure panels during transit
  • Balanced weight distribution to prevent shifting or impact damage
  • Seal verification and documentation, including seal number records

Buyers may request a complete loading report or third-party inspection (SGS, BV, TÜV) before shipment.

4. Shipment Tracking & Logistics Partners

Fortex works with reliable international freight forwarders to ensure efficient delivery.

We provide:

  • Real-time tracking numbers and estimated arrival updates
  • Customs clearance coordination for FOB, CIF or DDP shipments
  • Required export documents: B/L, Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin
  • Optional marine cargo insurance for full shipment protection

Transport options include sea freight, land transport, rail and multimodal routes depending on destination.

5. Damage Prevention & Responsibility

To minimize logistics risk:

  • Containers include moisture-control desiccants
  • Crates are checked for structure, sealing and labeling
  • All handling follows fragile composite goods safety guidelines

If damage is confirmed due to packaging or loading issues, Fortex will review, document and compensate according to the Warranty & After-Sales Policy.

6. Storage & Handling Guidelines

For importers, distributors and factory users, we recommend:

  • Store FRP materials in dry, ventilated areas
  • Avoid stacking crates beyond four to five layers
  • Use forklifts or lifters for large-format composite panels
  • Keep panels upright with separators to protect edges

Our team can provide handling manuals and visual guides for warehouse operations.

7. Sustainability Commitment

We aim to reduce environmental impact through:

  • Use of recyclable packaging materials where possible
  • Optimized crate design for maximum container loading efficiency
  • Reduced excess packaging to lower transportation carbon footprint

We continue improving packaging processes to support sustainability.
